Core Values

This is a picture of an open Bible with a pair of glasses, a journal and a cup of coffee.Below are the Fellowship Bible Church core values. These values are part of our DNA and are empowered by the Holy Spirit as He has His way in us.

Grace isn't an add on or after thought of God. Through the redemptive work of Jesus, grace becomes a lifesaving, undeserved gift. When properly understood grace should amaze us and change us. Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 2:11-12

Truth with a capital "T" is truth that endures all cultures, times and seasons. God's word is Truth and we are to value it highly, hold on to it preciously and share it lovingly. Ephesians 4:15, John 8:32, 2 Timothy 2:25

God rightly defined and understood, isn't just interested in community, He is community. We see it on display in the unity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Since we are made in His image we too were formed to be in community and Christ transforms our lives for community. John 17:11,20-21

As disciples of Jesus we are to be participants as opposed to spectators within the church. Through the Holy Spirit, we have each been given gifts by which we bless the church and bring glory to God. It is when everyone uses those gifts that the church functions on all cylinders. Ephesians 2:10, 1 Corinthians 12:5-6, 1 Peter 4:10

We are all "works in progress," therefore our desire is to be real with one another. Seeking to love all with a pure heart and sincere faith. Helping each other become more like Christ until He calls us home. 1 Timothy 1:5, 1 Corinthians 13:4,5,7, James 5:16

The effectiveness of Fellowship Bible will not be solely measured by what happens within the four walls of the church. Rather we will seek and provide opportunities for our body to be salt and light both in the local context and around the world. Mathew 28:18-20, Isaiah 1:17, Acts 10:36-38

Christ in us should make us the most generous people on the planet. Radical generosity is the result of understanding that it is in Christ that we live and move and have our being, which results in sharing our time, talents and treasures to advance the Kingdom to the Glory of God. 1 Thessalonians 1:6, Luke 6:38
