Corinth was a thriving coastal city that prided itself with its rich history, freedom of thought and eclectic population. It was a city that personified the description found in Judges, "Everyone did what was right in their own eyes." In this setting, Paul planted an imperfect church made up of imperfect people. Their struggle to be a healthy church is not foreign to us. As we look into Paul's first letter, we will learn how to "be the church" in our cultural moment. Join us as we mine God's Word for truths to guide us on the journey.

The goal of Bible doctrine isn't that we would know more (information) but that our hearts would be oriented toward a greater love for God (transformation). This summer we will journey through a series called, Faith Foundations. We will look at 12 foundational doctrines and their application to everyday living. Join us as we dig deep into these life changing truths.

What makes Jesus so different? Who do we say that He is? Why would He do that? Why does He need to be our first love? We will spend our lives getting to know Jesus on a deeper level. Is it possible that we have some preconceived ideas that aren’t correct? Let’s dig deep to encounter Jesus as we look into his life from the Gospels of John and Luke.

The people of God struggled from the moment they set foot in the promise land, so God provided judges who would lead them in the ways of the Lord. Unfortunately, the external temptations proved to be too difficult, and the people continued to compromise and desired to be more like the nations around them who all had a king to lead them. The Lord relented and allowed them to have an earthly king, but of course they chose what looked like the best man but in the end proved disastrous. Join us as we journey through the book of first Samuel and see how God opposes the proud, gives grace to the humble and works His plan in spite of the evil ways of man.
